Yves Menard
Vice-President, Executive Committee
A lawyer working in the construction sector, his wife, Andrea Lockwood, is also a lawyer. Chelsea residents for 20 years, this couple have been early and consistent supporters to the Foundation. Yves has been involved in many major developments and also has experience in financing a number of public institutions. He has valuable experience sitting on other boards and has given legal advice to many charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
Chad Hollington
Treasurer, Executive Committee
Chad is a graduate of University of Ottawa and has lived in Chelsea since 2001. Chad currently operates a business in Chelsea and has been involved in many community initiatives and fundraising. He has a strong background is corporate management and sales & marketing. Chad brings various skills to the foundation acquired in his 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. Chad resides in Chelsea with his wife Tracy and his two children Madison and Aidan.
Marie Schingh
Secretary, Executive Committee
Marie is a 15 year Chelsea resident and active community member who has a strong commitment to the realization of the Meredith Centre. She holds a BSc and MBA, is an accredited executive coach and her 20 years in the Federal Public Service offers the Foundation board many valuable organizational, managerial and strategic skills. She is currently Director, Integrated Planning at Environment Canada.
William Amos
Board Member
Will is a bilingual lawyer called to the Bar in Ontario and Quebec who also holds a MA in Political Science. Will is a Staff Lawyer and part-time professor at the uOttawa-Ecojustice Environmental Law Clinic. He previously worked as counsel at the CRTC and at the Montreal firm of Heenan Blaikie, as a policy analyst at Environment Canada, and on Parliament Hill. Will has lived in Chelsea since 2005 with his fiancée Regina Flores and his daughter Paloma Grace.
Karen Belsher
Board Member
Karen has been a resident of Chelsea since 1983. Karen and her husband, David Meredith, have been active supporters of the Chelsea Foundation since its conception more than ten years ago. In late 2005, Karen became a Board Director replacing her husband. She continues the work he started with the founding members to build a community recreation and cultural centre in Chelsea.
Serge Côte
Board Member
Serge is a project manager with the Department of National Defence. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College in Electrical Engineering and he holds a Masters degree in Project Management from the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Serge is an active paddler at the Cascades Club and coaches at Chelsea Nordiq. Serge, his wife Cindy and their two young children have lived in Chelsea since 2002.
Michael Geisterfer
Board Member
Michael Geisterfer is a journalist and communications expert whohas lived in Chelsea for five years.
Pierre Lafontaine
Board Member
A graduate of Concordia University, Pierre is a passionate promoter of swimming as a lifelong activity and a healthy lifestyle in harmony with nature. He is currently the CEO and National Coach of Swimming Canada. His distinguished career has included Head Coach of the Australian Institute of Sport and Head Coach at numerous renowned swim clubs around the world. Pierre and his family are proud Chelsea residents who look forward to contributing to the community through the realization of the Meredith Centre.
Martti Lahtinen
Board Member
Martti Lahtinen is a 29-year resident of Mill Road, during which time he and his wife Diane raised three children who progressed through both the Chelsea elementary school and recreational programs. Martti has retired from the Ottawa Citizen, where he enjoyed a 23-year career as a copy editor. He serves on the boards of Newgate 180, an addiction treatment facility located in Merrickville, Ont., and Oasis Chelsea, a planned retirement community.
Robin McNeill
Board Member
A twenty-year resident of Chelsea, Robin has been associated with the Foundation for many years and was past President from 2004 to mid-2007. A graduate of the Royal Military College in Kingston, he holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership from the Graduate Institute in Connecticut. He has a product and marketing background and was formerly a Vice-President at Cognos Inc. He is currently Chief Operating Officer at Leadership Ottawa, which runs nine-month programs to develop community leaders.
Bruce Devine

Bruce is the representant of the Municipality of Chelsea on the Foundation.
